Learn about the largest and most powerful empire the world had ever known until Alexander. I am of course talkikng about the Ancient Persians. These were not just pretty-boys who were led to the slaughter as depicted in the movie 300. This was an incredibly trained army who steamrolled every known culture in western Asia for hundreds of years. They were also tolerant of their conquered peoples and allowed many religions in their empire. They were a very intereseting people.

Hello and welcome to the MrWilliamsWorld History Podcast. I have to tell you, its been TOUGH getting my website back in shape since some idiot (ME!!!) deleted it a few weeks ago… ggrrrrr!!… however, one ray of sunshine has come out of it. It made me dig down into the “vault” of podcasts that I have created over the last couple of years and reorganize and reissue them. So her you go.
