These were not just pretty-boys who were led to the slaughter as depicted in the movie <em>300</em>. This was an incredibly trained army who steamrolled every known culture in western Asia for hundreds of years. They were also tolerant of their conquered peoples and allowed many religions in their empire. They were a very interesting people.</p>

I have to tell you, its been TOUGH getting my website back in shape since some idiot (ME!!!) deleted it a few weeks ago&#8230; ggrrrrr!!&#8230; however, one ray of sunshine has come out of it. It made me dig down into the &#8220;vault&#8221; of podcasts that I have created over the last couple of years and reorganize  and reissue them. So here you go. Some of these you may have listened to before, and some you may have missed. There are a mix of video and audio shows ranging from how to make papyrus, to World War I.</p>
